How much will it cost?
Rates for procedure writers vary according to experience and capability. Specialists (eg procedure writers who are experts in a field such as ITIL, quality management and OH&S) are often more expensive per hour than non-specialists.
Our clients normally need one or more procedure writers for periods between one and twelve months. A longer engagement usually means a lower hourly rate. The rate that we give you for a particular writer will be inclusive of all taxes, superannuation, insurance, except GST.
Generally, procedure writers at lower rates are less experienced, and often less productive, so that the cost for your project may not be reduced by looking for a low rate – it might actually cost you more in total!
To find a permanent procedure writer that matches a client’s requirements, we charge the client a percentage of the writer’s first year’s salary.
