Job 14025: The amendments to the Federal Privacy Act had a major impact on this client, which is a non-profit organisation providing education services for children with hearing and/or vision impairments. The data collection performed by the organisation, both for service provision and fundraising, meant that all of their activities had a potential risk of failing to comply with the privacy rules. The organisation asked HCi to review its activities against the privacy legislation, and determine the actions needed to address the new requirements. Job 12784: Our client designed and manufactured a proteomics platform – a set of scientific instruments used for the analysis of proteins for the biotechnology industry.
